Privacy Requests

CertLuna does not yet offer an automated account export or complete account-deletion button. During the free preview, privacy and account-data requests are handled manually by the operator.

Requests you can make

  • Access to a copy of personal data associated with your account.
  • Correction of inaccurate identity or account information.
  • Deletion of your account and associated learning data.
  • Restriction of processing in circumstances recognized by law.
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability of information you provided, where applicable.

How to submit a request

  1. Email certluna@gmail.com with the subject “CertLuna privacy request”.
  2. When possible, send the request from the email address used for your CertLuna account.
  3. State the right you wish to exercise and describe the data or account concerned clearly enough to locate it.

Never send your Google password, Supabase token, recovery code, or payment information. If additional identity verification is necessary, CertLuna will request only the minimum information needed and will explain why.

Identity verification and timing

CertLuna will respond without undue delay and, in any event, within one month of receiving the request. If CertLuna has reasonable doubts about the requester's identity, it may promptly request the minimum additional information necessary to confirm that identity. Where permitted by law, the response period may be extended by up to two additional months because of the complexity or number of requests. The requester will be informed of any extension within the initial one-month period.

Deletion scope

Reset Progress is not account deletion. A complete deletion request also covers the account identity and associated learning records. The manual deletion process coordinates the CertLuna application record and Supabase authentication identity. Provider-controlled backups, security records, and legally necessary records follow their applicable retention lifecycle and must be verified before broad or commercial launch.

Response and refusal

Requests are normally handled without charge. If a request cannot be fulfilled, CertLuna will explain the reason and the available complaint options, subject to applicable law. Manifestly unfounded or excessive requests may be handled as permitted by law.
